Alexandru David Dimitriu

Hi, my name is Alexandru David Dimitriu, and I was born on March 18, 2016, in the heart of Brasov, Romania. From a very young age, I had a unique talent that captured the hearts of many. My mother is half American and half Filipino, and works in the beauty industry, while my father is a business strategy consultant who played the cello from a young age.

My journey into music started when my grandmother, who is a teacher at a German school, noticed my talent and encouraged me to take singing lessons at the age of three. I fell in love with singing and music and have been pursuing it ever since.

My grandfather was a remarkable man, he was kind, loving, and deeply religious. He taught me many things about love, kindness, and faith, and he instilled in me a love for music, especially classical guitar. Sadly, he passed away when I was just four years old, but his memory and legacy continue to inspire me.

To honor my grandfather’s memory, I started learning how to play the guitar, and I practiced every day, determined to make him proud. My music has become a source of comfort and solace for me, and I feel his presence with me every time I sing and play.

I also get inspiration from my uncle, who is a professional classical pianist and the manager of the Brasov Orchestra. Watching and listening to him play has been a great influence on my love for music.

With the support of my family, I started participating in singing competitions at a young age and won several awards within Romania. I even traveled to Italy to compete in a prestigious competition, where I won first prize in my category. It was such an amazing experience, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to showcase my talent.

My younger brother Jakob is my inspiration, and I want to be a role model for him, just as my family has supported me. Aside from music, I also love learning, playing with Lego, and traveling with my family.

I am grateful for the love and support of my family, who have been with me every step of the way. My journey in music is just beginning, and I am excited to see where it will take me.
